AN ACTION-PACKED FILM

It is true, detective Sherlock Holmes and his faithful companion Dr. Watson are back!
The most famous character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is performed this time by the badly-behaved and versatile American actor Robert Downey.
One of the best British actors at the moment, the well-known Jude Law, is in the role of Dr. Watson - Holmes´ inseparable colleague.
Holmes and Watson embark on an extraordinary adventure with plenty of incredible situations, trying to find out about a new chemical explosive.
The film is a new version of the most traditional British detective story. The director Guy Ritchie managed to combine the English style with an action-packed Hollywood movie.
Undoubtedly it is one of the best films of 2010.
You can´t miss it!

Profile

This is the profile of a very famous person. Try to guess who he is.

He began his career at the age of 5 as the lead singer of a musical group formed in 1964. In these early years they played in local clubs and bars in Indiana. Then, as their talents grew, they could compete in bigger competitions. In 1968, they signed the first contract and moved to California.
In 1977, he made his first film when he starred in the musical "The Wiz". It was at this time when he met Quincy Jones who was the producer of his first solo album. The album titled "Off the wall" was a big succes around the world. In 1982, he released the world´s largest selling album, breaking again more records, and sold more than 50 million copies worldwide. He was keen to use music video or short films to promote his singles from the album. In 1984 he won 8 Grammy awards in one night.
In 1991, he signed with Sony Music the largest recording contract and launched his fourth solo album. He took his concerts to countries that had never before been visited by pop/ rock artists. Also, he founded the "Heal the World Foundation" to help improve the life of children across the world. In the mid-1980´s it became clear that his appearance was changing dramatically. His skin complexion became lighter, his nose and facial shape changed and he lost weight. Also he had several plastic surgeries on his face.
He and some of his siblings said that they had been physically and emotionally abused by their father. He rarely spoke about it, but when he did he became very emotional. During the 1990´s, it appeared that he had become dependant on drugs, mainly painkillers and strong sedatives, and his health deteriorated quickly. He went on rehabilitation in 1993 with the help of his best friends but the addiction remained. He died of a cardiac arrest in 2009.
His career transformed the art of music video and paved the way for modern pop music. He had a very strong influence over the younger generation through his musical and humanitarian contributions. He, with his musical style and videos, became a pop culture phenomenon.

AN UNFORGETTABLE WOMAN

She was one of the most famous women involved in working with poor people.
She was not only a pretty face but also a warm-hearted human being.
In her twenties she fell in love with a nobleman and being so young she married
him. Her marriage was not so happy as she had hoped and trying to give
meaning to her life she started to help disabled children and people with
incurable illnesses.
She was not really happy in her private life, she tried to commit suicide several
times and suffered from anorexia and serious depression.
Despite her unhappiness, she travelled around the world helping all those in need.
During one of her trips she met Mother Teresa in Calcuta.
She belonged to the nobility and was only a princess but was loved by the people
of her country who called her "THE QUEEN OF HEARTS".
The world will always remember her elegance, her shy smile and her humbleness.
Who is she?

If you haven't seen the movie yet, READ IT !

Summery of a film

Alice in Wonderland

Something really strange happened to Alice, an unpretentious and individualistic 19-year-old, who was obliged to marry a stupid boy. At her engagement party, she escaped the crowd to consider whether to go through with the marriage. And not realising what she was doing, she fell down a whole in the garden after seeing an unusual rabbit jumping highly among the flowers and trees. Upon arriving at a strange and surreal place called "Underland", she found herself in a world that seemed to be the one she saw in some of her dreams, full of animals talking to each other, knights, villans, queens and "bandersnatches" which were wired criatures, a mixture of men and animals. After staying there for some time, feeling misunderstood, Alice noticed that she was there for a reason: to conquer the horrific Jabberwocky, a horrible dragon, and to return the right queen her throne.

Who is this person? GUESS IT !

Hi girls!
Here's is a profile! Try to guess who the person is ! It's not difficult at all.

He's one of the most polemical militar leaders in the whole world. Genocide, that was his aim, to keep his race pure.
This man was in charge of the German Government from 1933 to 1945, and was commander-in-chief during the Second World War, representing his country.
Although a large number of people trusted him, he's as a terrible person for having commited gross human-rights violations: the deliberate murder of thousands of members of on ethnic group. At that time, nobody wanted to challenge him because of his power and impenetrability. It's said that he exerted a strong personal magnetism that persuaded the masses.
During his childhood and adolescence he lived in Austria. He though he was good at painting, but he wasn't. Then he moved to Munich to avoid being drafted into the Austrian Army. There, in Munich, he started his political career, and from then he didn't stop until his suicide in 1945.
Nowadays, he's remembered due to the cruel and inhuman actions carried out by his delegates.
He seiged control of country and transformed it into an enormous concentration camp.
